The Rotaract Club of M V Mandali’s College of Commerce & Science, in collaboration with the Entrepreneurial Cell, organized an event named “ENTREPRENEURIAL SPARK” on 14th February 2024 from 11:00 am to 04:00 pm. The Entrepreneurial Spark event was organized to encourage students to showcase their entrepreneurial skills.

The event commenced with the inauguration ceremony led by Shri Prashant A. Thingalaya, a Management committee member, and the In-Charge Principal, Dr. Navsin Mistry. Shri Prashant A. Thingalaya interacted with each participant to understand their strategies and plans of action for the small business. Participants displayed a variety of products at their stalls, including food, milkshakes and jewelry, to attract maximum customers. They adeptly advertised their offerings, negotiated with peers, and addressed queries smoothly.

All the staff, as well as students from the junior and degree colleges, were invited to attend the event. A large number of students participated actively, motivating their friends and aiming to maximize profits. They also prepared budgeted expenses for their stalls.

The event offered students a chance to showcase their innovative abilities and business acumen. Through the event, students learned various skills including accounting, customer handling, advertising,  product design, and product planning. This practical experience was invaluable for them to understand the real-world application of their classroom knowledge.
