1^st International Interdisciplinary Conference:

Theme: Commerce, Management, IT and Social Science

MVM Degree College of Commerce & Science conducted its first International Inter-Disciplinary Conference on Commerce, Management, IT and Social Science on Saturday, 7th February; 2015 at MVM Campus Auditorium. The Chief Guest for the event was Dr Ah Kie Lim, an International Speaker from Malaysia who enlightened the audience on the importance of cultural adaptability in the global era. Guest of Honours for the event was Mr Ameet Satam and Mr Viraj Kulkarni. Mr Ameet Satam; MLA Andheri Constituency spoke on the importance of delivering value in education and Mr Viraj Kulkarni; Founder of Pivot Management Consulting; shared his rich experience from the corporate world. President of MV Mandali Mr Ajit Suvarna acknowledged the importance of organising international conferences. Chairman of MV Mandali Mr Satish Shriyan emphasised on globalisation being the need of the hour.

2^nd Multi-disciplinary International Conference:

Theme: Make In India – Strategies, Challenges & Opportunities

MVM Degree College of Commerce & Science counduted its second International Inter-Disciplinary Conference on Commerce, Management, IT and Social Science on Saturday 27th February 2016.

The Chief Guest for the event was Mr Uday Nirgudkar (CEO DNA). The Guest of Honours for the conference was Mr Eric Labaratette (MD Metro One Operations, Head of Veolia France in India), Col. Shubhodoy MMukherjee (Vice President, HR & Admin, Reliance Metro), Mr Bimal Kanal (Director, Safm

Theme: SMEs – Vehicle For Inclusive Growth & Prosperity

MVM Degree College of Commerce & Science, Andheri (West) managed by The Mogaveera Vyavasthapaka Mandali conducted its Third International Conference on 12th January 2017. The theme for the conference was “SMEs – Vehicle For Inclusive Growth & Prosperity”. The conference was organized in Collaboration with Rotary Club of Mumbai Juhu & Co-host Clubs RC Mumbai North Island, RC Bombay Juhu Beach, RC Bombay Seacoast, RC Bombay Airport, RC Mumbai Versova, RC Mumbai Green City at MVM Campus Auditorium.

The Honourable Chief Guest Rtn. Gopal Mandhania District Governor 2016-17 – District 3141 emphasized the importance of research in the growth of SME’s. Guest of Honours Mr Chandrakant Salunkhe (Keynote speaker), Founder & President SME Chambers of India CMD, Macro Group of Companies gave a presentation on the role of SME”s and the opportunities for expansion and investments. Rtn. Ramesh Bhatia CEO – John Galt Group of Companies spoke on his defence sector initiatives and a 9 E ’s for a successful entrepreneur. Mr Vincent Wahrenburg, Head of Environmental Engineering- IRIANS Environmental Engineer Berlin, Germany enlightened on the importance of environment in the process of growth. Dr Gopal Kalkoti Head of Department, Economics, Nagindas Khandwala College of Commerce spoke on the concept of home entrepreneurs and the small industries which could lead to big outcomes for employment and innovation. Ms Revathi Roy, Founder, Hey Deedee CEO, Zaffiro Learning charge the audience with her life experiences and indicated that where there is a will there is a way.

4^thInternational Interdisciplinary Conference:

Theme: Issues, Challenges and Remedies of Global Higher Education with Reference to Employability

MVM Degree College of Commerce & Science, Andheri (West) Organised its Fourth International Conference on 16th February 2018. The Inaugural Ceremony of Conference was graced by Chief Guest, Dr M Kanti Nag, Chief Advisor, Podar World College, Juhu and Guest of Honour, Shri Daya Nayak, Police Officer, Amboli Police Station.

5^th National Conference:

Theme: Educational Landscape on Effective Employability

MVM College of Commerce and Science in collaboration with Rajiv Gandhi Institute of contemporary studies has organized International conference on 8 th march 2019. The theme for the conference was “Educational Landscape on Effective Employability”. Principles, faculty members and delegates from various colleges of Mumbai attended the conference. There was inauguration ceremony, followed by panel discussion based on theme of conference. All delegates put forwarded their views and opinion on making
education more effective. It was a fruitful and interactive session. Session ended with vote of thanks to all present members.

6^th International Multidisciplinary Conference:

Theme: Issues & Challenges in Higher Education – Global Perspectives

M V Mandali’s Colleges of Commerce & Science and Valia College in association with Mumbai University and Indian Accounting Association, Thane Branch has organised One Day Online International Multidisciplinary Conference on “Issues & Challenges in Higher Education – Global Perspectives” on Saturday, 27th June 2020 from 9 AM onwards.

Inaugural Session starts with National Anthem followed by a welcome speech by Dr Gopal Kalkoti, Principal of M V M College. Ms Seema Rawat, Vice Principal of M V M College, addresses the audience about the Organisers of the Conference. Then Dr Shobha Menon, Principal of Valia College, addresses the audience about the Conference.

Shri Ajit Suvarna, Hon Trustee of Mogaveera Vyavasthapaka Mandali and Shri Himat Valia, President of Cosmopolitian Education Society, addresses the audience.
