Parameters of assessment<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><strong>a. Scholastic performance<\/strong><br \/>\nBoth marks and grades will be awarded for individual subjects<\/p>\n<p><strong>b. Co-scholastic performance<\/strong><br \/>\nGrades will be awarded for nonscholastic performance in three categories \u2013 Work Education (or prevocational education), Art Education, and Health and Physical Education.<\/p>\n<p><strong>c. Discipline<\/strong><br \/>\nGrades will be awarded to students after evaluating their commitment to discipline, which includes attendance, sincerity, behavior, and values.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;40px&#8221;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #006098;\">2. Weightage and examination pattern<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><strong>a. For class IX<\/strong><br \/>\nThe pattern of examination is similar to that of class X. Out of a total of 100 marks, 80 marks have been assigned to written exams while the remaining 20 have been divided between three disciplines: periodic tests (10 marks), notebook submission (5 marks) and subject enrichment activity (5 marks).<\/p>\n<p><strong>b. For classes I to VIII<\/strong><br \/>\nClasses VI to VIII will have the same format of assessment. However, a class year has been divided into two Terms. So, students of these classes will have to appear for exams twice a year, i.e., at the end of each Term.
