Objectives

The course equips graduates with the knowledge and technical skills necessary to understand and participate in the modem business world. The structure of the course requires students to study compulsory and elective subjects from the core program. The course also prepares students for subsequent graduate studies and allows them to achieve the highest level of success in their professional careers. The Bachelor of Commerce provides a solid foundation in economics, quantitative methods and organizational behavior.

Guidelines for Admission

A candidate is eligible for admission to the B.Com. (Actuarial Studies) Degree course is he/she has passed XII th standard examination of the Maharashtra Board or Higher Secondary Education with Mathematics Subject or its equivalent or Diploma with two years or three years duration after S.S.C. conducted by the Board of Examination by securing minimum 40% marks for general category as well as for reserved category in one attempt.

Documents required: Admission to the First Year

  1. Original Leaving Certificate with two attested Xerox copies. The original LC once submitted will not be returned to the students, so they are requested to have a sufficient number of true copies of the same.
  2. Address Proof — Xerox copy of ration card /Electricity Bill /Telephone Bill /Passport /driving license; anyone of these to be submitted.
  3. H.S.C. Original mark sheet with four attested Xerox copies.
  4. 5 Copies of latest passport size photograph.
  5. For the final confirmation of admission with the university H.S.0 passing Certificate should be submitted to the college once before 31st December by the student.

Admission to the subsequent Years

  1. Attested Mark sheet of Semester I & II along with two Xerox copies each for Second Year admission.
  2. Attested mark sheet of Semester I, II, Ill & IV along with two Xerox copies each for Third Year admission and for new admissions at S.Y. & T.Y-NOC with enrolment details should be produced from the previous college.
  3. Address Proof as stated in the first year.
  4. 5 Copies of the latest passport size photograph.
